Application Information

Recipients are selected according to criteria established by the Board of Directors and oversight is given to be sure the criteria are met. Recipients must come from rural backgrounds, their career plans show evidence of intent to work in areas that will support rural Wisconsin, they must demonstrate financial need and show leadership qualities.

WROF is focusing its resources as much as possible to benefit development of rural Wisconsin.

Recipients complete the traditional scholarship application for awards within the UW-System. A special application for the WROF program is to be completed within all the Wisconsin Vocational Technical Colleges. For the School of Veterinary Medicine Loans, applications are reviewed by a selection committee from the WROF directly.
